Epic Roller Coasters
Below you will find the motion profile for Epic Roller Coasters.
Every time Epic Roller Coasters is started, you must re-enable telemetry or motion will not work. Epic Roller Coasters resets it to OFF when restarting the game. To enable telemetry in Epic Roller Coasters:
Open Epic Roller Coasters
Select the Gear icon
Select TELEMETRY (Do not select SRS)
Check and set if needed port to 7701
Click on Start
Epic Roller Coasters has buggy telemetry that will spike in Sway and Heave. Effect Smoothing has been utilized to mitigate the spikes. However, due to the larger default Spike Filter value of 3600, the spikes of Sway and Heave might feel to jarring. If less motion is desired, reduced the Spike Filter down to 2700 or further to 1800. Note: Some regular motion on the coasters will be muted when the Spike Filter is reduced below 3600.
Required Adjustments Based on Platform
This motion profile was created on a PT Actuator 6DOF Simracing Platform (150mm: 7 Actuators (2 Front + 2 Rear + 2 TL + Surge). Since all motion platforms can be slightly different, please use the guidance below or utilize the quick tuning guide here for quick adjustments or the full guide here for detailed tuning information.
If no Sway actuators, reduce the Sway Effect Slider from 14 to 6.
If no Surge actuator, reduce the Long G Surge Accel/Decel Effect Slider from 17 to 7 & 15 to 6.
If no Traction Loss actuator, reduce the Traction Loss Effect Slider from 16 to 6.
IMPORTANT: If you have downloaded the motion profile from the SRS Cloud Share, it will utilize your default Spike Filter settings. If you do not increase it as indicated in the motion profile, your Spike Filter may engage often and motion will feel muted.
If you have a Sim Racing Studio Premium Add-on Subscription, you can download the profiles below in Sim Racing Studio using the Cloud Share feature. Click here to find out more information.
Notes: Tuned utilizing telemetry from Haunted Castle, Halloween, Wyvern Siege, Twilight, and default free tracks. Spike Filter increased to 3600 to facilitate quick changes in pitch (If motion is too jarring due to spiking telemetry, reduce the spike filter to 2700). There is no Traction Loss telemetry for Epic Roller Coasters.
