Elite Dangerous
Below is an fundamentally new tuning for Elite Dangerous. Huge thank you to the Sim Racing Studio team in enabling new functionality within Elite Dangerous that now provides tunings for Spaceships and the SRV! This change vastly improves the experience of driving a SRV planet-side in Elite Dangerous by allowing a specialized tuning for its movements. In addition, Sim Racing Studio increased the telemetry output for Elite Dangerous to allow for finer detail within the spaceships. This has greatly reduced the jerky movements due to the platform reaching maximum telemetry in a very short period of time.
Over 12 hours of captured telemetry across various spacecraft including the Anaconda, Asp Explorer, Type-9 Heavy, Sidewinder, Viper MK III, Imperial Cutter, Federal Cutter, Krait MkII, Condor Fighter, Taipan Fighter, and the SRV were utilized to normalize telemetry across all vehicles. Utilizing these new Max Telemetries, small ships will feel snappy and fast, medium ships will feel responsive and smoother, and large ships will have detail and weight to their movements.
The SRV tuning is a fundamental change to the experience. Motion has been normalized to not follow the terrain precisely which would cause nausea-inducing snappy movements and instead follow the telemetry of the actual cockpit of the SRV. You are now able to drive quickly over relatively smooth terrain. Rough terrain is manageable, but skill will be needed to not loose control. The SRV feels like an actual high-tech lunar vehicle with the ability to control it effectively.
Acceleration and Deceleration have been improved in the spaceships and SRV. Note: Ensure your seat-belts are fastened when exiting the Frame Shift Drive on approach to a station. Yaw has been expanded to allow for finer movements.
Tuned on a DOF Reality P6 non-SFU, but will work for all DOF Reality models. The tuning will provide the full range of motion, but has been smoothed for space flight. If you feel you want more Roll, Pitch, Yaw or any other effect, reducing Max Telemetry will increase the responsiveness of the effect. For more information on tuning details, see the Advanced Motion Tuning Guide here.

Notes: Overall Smoothing increased to 80 to mitigate frameshift drive surge. Smoothing Effects utilized to improve spaceflight motion. All Max Telemetries readjusted based on new standardized telemetry capturing techniques to mitigate variances and tuned for the majority of spacecraft available in Elite Dangerous. Effect Sliders adjusted to balance Accel and Decel while reducing impact of surge spikes.
Notes: Updated 12/6/2020 to improve following of terrain by increasing Pitch/Roll Effect Sliders and reducing Max Telemetries (previous 2.0 tuning below in replies). Removed Effect Smoothing for both Pitch and Roll. Pitch reversed to correct embankment on terrain. Long G Surge Accel/Decel Max Telemetry decreased based on updated captured telemetry. Heave prioritized to improve g-force reactions when landing the SRV after vertical thrust flight.
